Be The Best - Michael Crees

Racing Driver | Family Man | Motorsport Addict

Hey, I’m Michael Crees – racing driver, family guy, and all-around motorsport nut. My journey into professional racing wasn’t exactly traditional. I didn’t grow up in a kart. I started later, coming from a business background, but once I hit the track, I knew I’d found my thing.

I kicked things off in the Ginetta Racing Drivers’ Club, then won the Ginetta GT4 Supercup Am title with Century Motorsport. That opened the door to the British Touring Car Championship, where I scored points on my debut and racked up 100 starts, with a best finish of P8 and plenty of elbows-out racing along the way.

My proudest moment so far? Definitely winning the Jack Sears Trophy in 2020 after a season-long scrap. It meant everything, especially as someone who took the scenic route into this sport. Since then, I’ve also raced in British GT, the GT4 European Series, and even had a go in Porsche Supercup.

Away from the track, I’m a proud husband and dad, and I still run businesses on the side. It’s all a juggle, but I love the chaos. Thanks for checking in and following the ride. There’s plenty more to come.
